New MacBook announced with 12-inch Retina display with only 1 USB port

It weighs just 2 pounds and, at 12 inches, will sit in between Apple's lightest MacBook Air models. It's 24 percent thinner than the 11-inch MacBook Air, measuring 13.1mm in thickness. There's an all-new keyboard, which spans the full width of the new MacBook. The keyboard features a new "butterfly mechanism" for a better, "much more precise" typing experience. The keyboard also has individual LED lighting for each key, helping to make the device that little bit thinner.

The touchpad has also been overhauled: it no longer clicks. There are four force sensors, one in each corner, and the "click feel" is managed by software.

The new MacBook has a 12-inch screen, which joins Apple's Retina display family with a 2304 x 1440 resolution. Apple says that it consumes 30 percent less power than previous displays.

The MacBook has a new, flatter-style keyboard with a revised mechanism that enables more even key presses, and letting it “be thinner, and more precise in its illumination,” The machine also gets a new Force Touch trackpad has Force Sensors and a Taptic engine. You can click anywhere and get the same feel over the entire surface.

The new MacBook contains 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0, which is table stakes these days. But it’s also significant what the machine omits. The new MacBook has that single USB-C port and a headphone jack, but no regular USB (at least while the unit is charging), Thunderbolt, or Ethernet ports.

Check out what is USB type-C :  http://www.blogmytuts.net/2014/08/reversible-usb-type-c-connector.html

The machine gets Energy Star 6.1 and EPEAT Gold certifications. It contains arsenic-free display glass, and it’s Beryllium free for the first time. It’s the world’s most energy-efficient notebook, Apple claims.

Apple also unveiled some minor updates to the existing smaller MacBooks. The MacBook Air now has 5th-generation Broadwell Core i5 and i7 processors, Thunderbolt 2, and 2x faster flash storage. The 13-inch MacBook Pro gets similar upgrades, plus the Force Touch trackpad and another hour of battery life (10 hours). All of the revised existing models ship today.

Two configurations are available: a 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core M model with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD for $1,299, and a 1.2GHz version with a 512GB SSD for $1,599. Both machines will ship April 10th, and you can get one in silver, space gray, or gold.

FACEBOOK'S OFFICIAL MASS AUTO-UNLIKE

The social network giant is giving its Pages a little spring cleaning, purging them of memorialized and voluntarily deactivated inactive Facebook accounts in an attempt to make its users data more meaningful for businesses and brands

Facebook Page by next week, you will notice a drop in the number of "likes" on your Facebook Page.

Facebook purge will begin from March 12, Facebook said, and should continue over the next few weeks.

"Over the coming weeks, Page admins should expect to see a small dip in their number of Page likes as a result of this update," Facebook said in a blog post. "It’s important to remember, though, that these removed likes represent people who were already inactive on Facebook."

FACEBOOK TO DETECT FAKE FOLLOWERS

Facebook is also taking steps to improve how it detects fake profiles. We all know that a number of Businesses and Brands buy fake Facebook Likes and Twitter followers in order to show their brand popularity.

Social Media giants, Facebook, Twitter and Google, have emerged as major players in recent general elections in India, where political parties spend millions of dollar to buy number of Followers and advertize their promo campaigns to impact Election results.

BENEFITS OF REMOVING INACTIVE USERS FROM LIKES

According to Facebook, there are two main reasons to remove inactive Facebook accounts from Page audience:

• Accurate Likes
• Keeping Actual followers on the Top

With more accurate "like" counts, businesses and brands could better understand how much followers are actually interested in their contents and products. Facebook wants to give businesses “up-to-date insights” on their pages’ active followers.

The move will give businesses more precise information about those Facebook users who are actively following their Facebook Page and make better use of Facebook’s Custom Audiences tool, which lets businesses create followers — aka lookalike audiences — by finding people on Facebook who are similar to those who already follow the company’s page.

The company also wants to make business results consistent with individual users’ experiences. Facebook already filters out "likes and comments generated by deactivated or memorialized accounts from individual Page posts."

While, the decrease in number of followers may disappoint you at the very first time, but at the same time it will help you gain a more accurate way to track your customers and grow your followers with authentic number of likes, which will be more beneficial to your business.

"Everyone benefits from meaningful information on Facebook. It’s our hope that this update makes Pages even more valuable for businesses," Facebook said.

'The Girl with a Cute Mugshot' Arrested Again; This Time On Shoplifting Charges

Alysa Bathrick, 18, whose booking photo went viral last year after she shared it on Twitter, was collared again Monday in Raleigh, North Carolina on shoplifting charges, the New York Daily News reports.

Bathrick quickly earned the moniker "Cute Mugshot Girl" as well as thousands of creepy Twitter followers. But on Monday, she added another mugshot to her growing gallery. She's been arrested at least three times in North Carolina on charges including a pair of assaults, the Daily News reports.
When she was arrested in December, other Twitter users were clamoring to post her bail. She reportedly bonded out on Monday, and she and her friends couldn't be happier.

She appears to revel in the fame she cultivated when she posted her mugshot on Dec. 1 last year with the tweet, "Surrendered myself at 7 a.m., got released at 11:30 a.m. Fuck what you heard. And my mugshot’s cute."

Similar case at Cebu  Jobelle  Bascug 16 yrs old notorious shoplifter with 5 Million followers at Facebook. She's actually came from Sugod, Southern Leyte, 16 years old, Accordingly, she has a good family background who said to belong with an average level class family in her town. I think she has a psychiatric problem with the so-called "Kleptomaniac" or shall I say, she was greatly influenced with her peers due to too much attachment with vices or addiction,

μTorrent Silently Installing ‪‎Bitcoin‬ Mining Software

The piece of software, named Epic Scale, is a Bitcoin miner that purports to use your ‘unused processing power to change the world.’

According to one user, the software is ‘easily noticeable by the increased CPU load when the computer is idle.’

Unfortunately, the problem lies in the fact that users say they weren’t asked they wanted the software to be installed, although it must be noted that the uTorrent team flatly denies that silent installs have occurred.

A thread on the uTorrent forums by user ‘Groundrunner’ says: “There was no information about this during installation and I did opt out of your other bundled software.”

The issue specifically relates to uTorrent version 3.4.2 build 28913 (32-bit), which is the company’s most recent update.

Another user, dubbed ‘Adrenelized’, said there was ‘never a warning about it’, despite installing uTorrent completely fresh to his or her system.

uTorrent's forum is now inaccessible citing "This account has been suspended". This could be down to the excessive traffic following the Epic Scale news.

A senior manager for customer support at uTorrent did reply to the thread, explaining that it designs its software to ensure partner software downloads ‘don’t occur without approval by the user’.

“Epic Scale is a great partner for us to continue to generate revenue for the company, while contributing funds to good causes,” wrote the uTorrent employee.

“Feel free to delete this folder. You certainly won’t see any persistent auto-reinstalls of the software, it will be gone from your machine for good.”

This may not be the case however. Several users have said that the program does not uninstall completely via Add/Remove Programs, nor by removing the ProgramData\Epicscale folder.

Epic Scale is currently a cryptocurrency miner, but it has future plans to also contribute CPU cycles to other initiatives like Genome mapping.

It’s an ill-timed addition to uTorrent as bundled software however, as laptop manufacturer Lenovo was recently lambasted for its own user-unapproved software bundle of the Superfish program that left user data vulnerable to attack.

As BitTorrent has suggested that the complaining users are mistaken, we asked BitTorrent whether it could do more to improve transparency in the uTorrent installation process. This was the response:

"As with any such offer from any software vendor there is a clear "Accept" and "Do Not Accept" button on this offer."

 Update:
Giving BitTorrent the benefit of the doubt, there are three clear scenarios that could have caused this situation. Either the users are collectively mistaken; there is a lack of transparency in the software installation, leading to confusion amongst users; or there is a software fault whereby users are experiencing issues not otherwise intended by BitTorrent.

A Criminal Arrested After Replying To His Own Most Wanted Ad on Facebook

Another criminal has been caught out thanks to the marvels of social media.Butler County Sheriff’s Office on the outskirts of Cincinnati, Ohio, recently put a ‘most wanted’ post on Facebook calling for any information on Andrew Dale Marcum.

The 21-year-old was wanted on “numerous warrants” and was said to have had a past history of burglary, safe-cracking, abduction, assault, domestic violence and criminal endangering - the Sheriff’s Office therefore warned members of the public not to approach the man but instead to dial 911 if they saw him.

Luckily for the people of Butler County and the Sheriff’s Office itself, Marcum did all the hard work for them.

The man - or at least a man with exactly the same name and a profile photo that looked remarkably like him - then replied to the message.

Post by Butler County Sheriff's Office.

Charge Your Phone With Wearable Gadgets By Masturbating - Wankband

PornHub claims that it’s created the first (and probably only?) wearable that converts the signature up-and-down movement of male masturbation into energy that charges your phone, laptop, tablet, whatever. The company is on a mission to save the world by doing what they do best — by getting you to, uh, give yourself a hand.

It’s called the Wankband, and according to Pornhub, “ It's first gadget … that allows men to love the planet by loving themselves.”

A weight inside the band — which is worn around your wrist — goes up and down during sexytime. That motion generates energy that then charges your various devices. You simply plug your phone into the band’s USB port and stroke away.

Watch the SFW promotional video to get all the juicy deets:

If you’re interested in testing out the Wankband, you can join the beta testing team here http://thewankband.com/.

PornHub says women can enjoy the energy-saving benefits of Wankbands as well, but somehow we’re skeptical of this claim since the band is solely powered by vertical movements.

How to Setup Custom Domain on Blogger with Pangalan.com

Setting Up Blogspot With Your Costum Domain Name

WHAT IS DOMAIN?
Domain names are used to identify one or more IP addresses. For example, the domain name microsoft.com represents about a dozen IP addresses. Domain names are used in URLs to identify particular Web pages. For example, in the URL http://www.blogmytuts.net/p/blog-page.html, the domain name is blogmytuts.net

Because the Internet is based on IP addresses, not domain names, every Web server requires a Domain Name System (DNS) server to translate domain names into IP addresses.

Every domain name has a suffix that indicates which top level domain (TLD) it belongs to. There are only a limited number of such domains. For example:
