Watch all 2017 summer’s blockbuster movies with this amazing! mash-up trailer

Whole bunch of fan-edited movie retrospectives that collect the year’s films into one long trailer.

YouTuber AMONymous (Amon Warmann) is getting a head start this year by putting together a fun mega trailer for all of this summer’s big blockbuster films.

Warmann’s mash-up, is expertly exited together: the action from the various movies flow together nicely, set to “Feel Invincible” by Christian rock band Skillet. What makes the video really great is that the clips line up with the song’s lyrics: what you’re seeing on-screen is what you’re hearing in the song, which is no easy feat.

The list of movies included in the mash-up are the ones that you’ll be hearing a lot of in the next couple of months. There’s the big Marvel releases (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Spider-Man: Homecoming), sequels (War of the Planet of the Apes, and Alien: Covenant), and even some non-franchise offerings (Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Atomic Blonde, and Dunkirk). Together, they come together in a high-energy mash-up of action, explosions, close-ups, and it perfectly captures the manic energy of the summer blockbuster season.

Fox is making the Silk Road movie 'Dark Web'

Fox is making a movie called Dark Web about Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, and the studio enlisted the help of the Coen brothers. The siblings are on board to write the film's screenplay based on the Wired series that tells the story of Ulbricht's empire and its fall in the hands of authorities. Silk Road was once a thriving online black market selling illegal drugs, weapons and even the services of hitmen, where buyers and sellers dealt in Bitcoins as their main currency.

Ulbricht, who was known in the community under the pseudonym Dread Pirate Roberts, began building it back in 2010. Five years later, he was sentenced to life in prison after he was convicted on seven charges of money laundering, drug trafficking, conspiracy and computer hacking, among other things. The controversial figure also ordered a hit on five people, including a blackmailer, according to a transcript of his conversations with assassins that Wired published. While DPR paid for the hits, nobody actually got killed.

As if those elements weren't enough to make a good thriller, one of the federal agents who investigated the case also received a six-and-a-half year sentence. He was found guilty of stealing $800,000 worth of Bitcoins from the marketplace while the feds were investigating the case.

It's unclear if the Coen brothers will also direct Dark Web, but we're sure a lot of people will be thrilled if they sign up for that part.

A YEAR IN THE LIFE ON SIMULATED MARS

On August 28, six scientists emerged from a 1000 square foot dome where they have spent the past year simulating the first human habitat on Mars.

The crew members - with backgrounds ranging from astrobiology to medicine and even space architecture - have not breathed fresh air in a year. They were only able to go outside a few times a month, in full space suits, and they could shower for six minutes every week. All of their communications were on a 20-minute delay, making email the only viable means to communicate with the rest of the world.

Throughout the yearlong mission, the six crew members have captured their daily experiences on camera for the documentary “Red Heaven”. The film will tell the story of the challenges and changes they’ve endured living life on simulated Mars, and it strives to ask deeper questions about humanity’s future and what it means to become a multi-planetary species.

 (HI-SEAS, Dome)

Directors Katherine Gorringe and Lauren DeFilippo are running a Kickstarter to fund editing this footage. They need to reach $40,000 by September 18. The rewards for pledges include the “Bill Nye Digital Bundle” - one of the rewards from The Bill Nye Film, the most backed documentary ever on Kickstarter - as well as a Skype call with one of the ‘hab-inauts’ and tickets to the film's premiere. The film is co-produced by Structure Film’s David Alvarado and Jason Sussberg, the award-winning directors behind the documentary about Bill Nye The Science Guy - the most-backed documentary of all time on Kickstarter, currently in post-production.

Gorringe and DeFilippo, who met as graduate film students at Stanford University, became fascinated with the futuristic and technology-driven way of life in Silicon Valley. “We realized the worlds of our favorite science fiction films were becoming closer to our reality, and we kept wondering, why do we dream of going to Mars? More importantly, what will that future be like for human beings?”

This mission is the longest study of its kind ever conducted on U.S. soil. The NASA-funded Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation (HI-SEAS) project places would-be astronauts in a simulated Mars habitat for long durations and collects data on the crew to study the social effects of isolation. Their findings will be used at NASA to determine the conditions for future manned Mars missions.

(EVAs or Extravehicular Activities Mars-like environment)

Spending twelve months in a confined space with five other people certainly has its challenges, and the six crew members found solace in EVAs or Extravehicular Activities, where they could explore volcanic caverns and perform geological research. They also released stress by cooking creatively with the freeze-dried options available to them, and exercising - two crew members ran a marathon while inside the dome.

 (Carmen, running)

The directors have two clear goals for their project: first and foremost, they want to give viewers a raw and intimate look into what life on Mars might really be like; secondly, they hope to inspire conversation about the stories we tell about the future, and how these tales shape what future becomes a reality.

“Red Heaven” is slated to premiere in 2018. To donate to the “Red Heaven” Kickstarter, go to:

Chrome exploit catches video just after it's decrypted for video pirates

FOR YEARS HOLLYWOOD has waged a war on piracy, using digital rights management technologies to fight bootleggers who illegally copy movies and distribute them. For just as long, hackers have found ways to bypass these protections. Now two security researchers have found a new way, using a vulnerability in the system Google uses to stream media through its Chrome browser. They say people could exploit the flaw to save illegal copies of movies they stream on Chrome using sites like Netflix or Amazon Prime.

David Livshits from the Cyber Security Research Center at Ben-Gurion University in Israel and Alexandra Mikityuk with Telekom Innovation Laboratories in Berlin, Germany, alerted Google to the problem on May 24th, but Google has yet to issue a patch. The vulnerability exists in the way Google implements the Widevine EME/CDM technology that Chrome uses to stream encrypted video.

The researchers created a proof-of-concept executable file that easily exploits the vulnerability, and produced a brief video to demonstrate it in action.

The investigators aren't saying exactly how the technique works until and unless there's a patch. However, they describe it as relatively simple. It has likely been around ever since Google implemented Widevine in Chrome, they add.

This isn't new, DivX player uses to download videos/movies to one's hard drive when streamed using chrome or safari automatically.

DRM Hole
The problem is with the implementation of a digital management system called Widevine, which Google owns but did not create. It uses encrypted media extensions to allow the content decryption module in your browser to communicate with the content protection systems of Netflix and other streaming services to deliver their encrypted movies to you. EME handles the key or license exchange between the protection systems of content providers and a CDM component in your browser. When you choose a protected movie to play, the CDM sends a license request to the provider through the EME interface and receives a license in return, which allows the CDM to decrypt the video and send it to your browser player to stream the decrypted content.

A good DRM system should protect that decrypted data and only let you stream the content in your browser, but Google’s system lets you copy it as it streams. The point at which you can hijack the decrypted movie is right after the CDM decrypts the film and is passing it to the player for streaming.

Firefox and Opera also use the Widevine CDM, though the researchers haven’t examined those browsers yet. They limited their research to the desktop version of Chrome. Neither Safari nor Internet Explorer use Widevine. Safari uses Apple’s FairPlay CDM, and Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Edge browsers use Microsoft’s PlayReady CDM. The researchers haven’t examined those CDMs yet.

How to play and download 3D SBS and 360 videos on Android VR Headset

The two main factors to consider are the resolution and the gyroscope.
Many NEW phones have gyroscopes, but many phones only a year old do not. The new VR and AR applications for smartphones such as google cardboard give a totally new use for everyday smartphones. Hence the need for a gyroscope. My phone has an octo core processor ( Alcatel Flash 2), yet doesn't have a gyro.

Also make sure the phone has Full HD(1920x1080) Display coz on HD display(1280x720) phone you'll see tiny pixels when you see them through the head mount. You're GPU should be on the high end as well to rendering everything twice over for VR.

The gyroscope, or gyro for short, adds an additional dimension to the information supplied by the accelerometer by tracking rotation or twist. An accelerometer measures linear acceleration of movement, while a gyro on the other hand measures the angular rotational velocity.Angular velocity is generally expressed in deg/s (degrees per second).

You can still use accelerometer you can look Up and Down /tilt on 180 or 360 videos or VR app games , but no Left or Right or rotational viewing.

The only work around I have heard of, is someone figured out a way to use a bluetooth/remote, gyroscope mouse. then attached it ti the vr headset.goofy looking, but it apparently worked.

How to play SBS and 360 videos on android VR Headset

1.  Download VR player on Google play there lots free VR player to choose. Sample is VaRs  VR video player.

2. Select Your Videos on Gallery

3. The VaRs players user friendly.

Select No VR - If you playing already split into two videos, dedicated to 3D video that has been shot in side by side (SBS) format.

Select STATIC - If your watch ordinary video none  180 or 360 this is like watching movie on Cinema.

Select (Blank) - If you want the screen moving (if follows your head movement) it doesn't matter if is a normal movie

Select  Vertical or Horizontal - This are special mostly 360 or 180 videos split into two they are Vertical or Horizontal.

Sample Videos

How to Download 3D SBS and 360 videos on Android

 1. Download Tubemate or Google the OsmTubemate , Tubemate support many videos hosting site like Facebook, YouKu , Vimeo, Dailymotion and Youtube.

 2.  Search any 360 videos, click the download button and select best format for your device.

NOTE: If you select 1920 and up  you need to install "Mp3 Video Converter" Tubemate will ask you to install it ( pop out a new tab link Google Playstore) to convert the AAC audio correctly.

Now  you can watch 180 and 360 degree video on your VR Headgear. Happy Viewing!!

YouTube had teased VR enthusiats back in March 2015 with the addition of 360 video support for mobile devices and Chrome, as well as support for 60 FPS video—two things that point towards a strong interest in VR. Followed by Facebook and other Videos hosting site.

With a recent update to the Android YouTube app, Google Cardboard-compatible smartphones can now view 360-degree video in side-by-side configuration.

The video streaming giant quietly rolled out VR support for their 2D 360-degree videos earlier this month, with no official mention in either their blog or other official information outlets. Only monoscopic videos are currently among those supported for VR viewing.

To access the VR function on 360 videos, first search for the videos by typing #360Video into the mobile app’s search field. Compatible videos should show the symbol below.

You can then pick a video and start playback. You’ll then have the option to switch to VR mode. Just touch the Google Cardboard icon.

On the lower right-hand side and insert your Android smartphone into VR or AR Headgear. Now look around and check it out! .

Everything is possible if you change another way looking to this world. -VR BOX

CAPTAIN AMERICA ELECTROMAGNET SHIELD

Electromagnet Captain America uses in Age of Ultron to retract his shield, and it actually works with replica Captain America shield. A man name James Hobson made a real Captain America Shield using Industrial Electromagnets that can lift up to 730 Kg with 7200N Power.

The idea for this project pop out after watching Avengers: Age of Ultron.

If you’re not familiar, it appears Captain America gets a suit upgrade (presumably from Stark himself) that features some pretty awesome embedded electromagnets allowing him to call his shield back to him from afar.

Now unfortunately, electromagnets aren’t that strong and it wouldn’t be able to achieve quite the same effect as good ol’ CGI.

The originally planned on making electromagnets using microwave oven transformers, similar to [Colin Furze’s] electromagnet boots, but ended up purchasing some industrial ones instead. At 12V they’re rated for 1200N, capable of lifting approximately 120kg. Using two, that’s 240kg — more than enough, right?

WRONG!

According to James Hobson it needed more power. "We crossed our fingers for engineering safety factors and slowly ramped up the voltage all the way to 72V. "

"Not being an actual superhero, my arm needs padding, lots and lots of padding. So we started with a pair shin / knee pads that happen to fit my arm pretty well, provide good padding, and good structure to mount to. Next, we welded up a frame around the bracer with a handle to hold onto. A good strong handle is essential for holding the 30lbs of magnets and shield. The handle is also a good place for the button so we cut out a pocket and dropped in a 50A momentary push button. A little bit of hockey tape and was good to go."

The hacksmith GIF  powering this monster with 3 lithium polymer battery packs from hobby king. Lithium batteries are awesome. Each of these batteries can pump out up to 175A at 24V.

"It was then time for the magnets. We first experimented with the primary coil of a microwave transformer and these worked pretty well. Good strength but a lot of current and a lot of heat which is a problem for wearable tech. Magnetic force if linearly proportional to both the number of coils and current. Therefore by increasing the number of coils, we can reduce the current and heat while maintaining the same magnetic force. Instead of winding thousands of coils ourselves, we bought some industrial electromagnets from Amazon.  These things are powerful! At just 12v and 1.5A they will lift over 260 lbs. That means by running them at 72V, each magnet will pull close to 1600lbs… for a short period of time before they overheat and burn out. I love safety factors. Conveniently, they also come with an m8 threaded hole on the back so we bolted them right onto the arm bracer.  For the purpose of expedience, we ignored the fact that electromagnets are large inductors will probably destroy our 50A power button. It’s ok. They are cheap."

Captain America is nothing without his shield… MachinaProps makes solid aluminum replica shields and replica Captain American leather jacket from SleekHides on Amazon. . These things are the real deal. Check out how they make them below.

From there, it was time to suit up and put this electromagnet gauntlet — and the shield — through their paces.

Watch the James Hobson Youtube test video is finally out Check it out! :

Guardians of the Galaxy and Thanos Infinity Gauntlet (Rumor)

Guardians of the Galaxy is the first Marvel comic book move to be mostly away from Earth with a limited number of actual human beings. It’s a huge undertaking, because it needs to be a crazy combination of special effects, killer actors, and a decent plot to continue driving the Marvel Cinematic Universe towards Avengers: Age of Ultron. Everything we’ve seen so far about this movie sets the scene for a fantastic action comedy, but this new trailer certainly puts an emphasis on action.

Guardians of the Galaxy offers another team-up film of characters for Marvel to merchandise and tells the story of a group of aliens (Adam Warlock, Drax The Destroyer, Gamora, Groot, Quasar, Rocket Raccoon and ally Nova) who come together to protect the galaxy from Thanos, the villain teased in the button at the end of The Avengers.

Thanos gather all six gemsattempts to assemble the Infinity Gauntlet  .

Infinity Gems, sometimes referred to as Soul Gems or Infinity Stones, are six immensely powerful gems featured in the fictional Marvel Universe. Whoever holds all six gems in the Infinity Gauntlet gains omnipotence, omniscience, and God-like power. In later storylines and crossover media a seventh Infinity Gem is sometimes added to the primary six.

Each gem is a small, smooth oval, and known by their respective powers. The gems are indestructible but not immutable

Infinity Gems
Name Color Powers and capabilities Known owners
Soul Green Allows the user to steal, control, manipulate and alter souls, living or dead, and is the gateway to an idyllic pocket universe. The Soul Gem is sentient and has a hunger for souls. Adam Warlock; Gardener; In-Betweener; Thanos; Nebula; Count Abyss; Magus; Rune; Odeni; Gemini; Loki; Syphonn; Galactus; Doctor Strange
Time Orange Allows the user total control over the past, present and future. Allows time travel, can age and de-age beings and also be used as a weapon by trapping enemies or entire universes in unending loops of time. Also at full potential grants Omniscience. Gardener; Thanos; Nebula; Adam Warlock; Odeni; Gamora; Maxam; Magus; Rune; Hardcase; Loki; Galactus; Namor; Thor; Mister Fantastic
Space Purple Allows the user to exist in any or all locations, move any object anywhere throughout reality and warp or rearrange space. At full potential it grants Omnipresence. Runner; Thanos; Nebula; Adam Warlock; Pip the Troll; Magus; Rune; Loki; Galactus; Iron Man; Hood; Odeni; Namor; Black Panther
Mind Blue Allows the user to greatly strengthen and enhance mental and psionic power and access the thoughts and dreams of other beings. Backed by the Power Gem, the Mind Gem can access all minds in existence simultaneously. When searching for it, the Illuminati apparently discovered that the Mind Gem was the manifestion of the universal subconscious. Grandmaster; Thanos; Nebula; Adam Warlock; Moondragon; Magus; Rune; Primevil; Loki; Galactus; Professor X; Odeni; Hood; Ms. Marvel; Beast
Reality Yellow Allows the user to fulfill wishes, even if the wish is in direct contradiction with scientific laws. Occasionally stated to be the most 'dangerous' of the Gems if wielded without the other Gems to keep its reality-altering powers from accidentally surging out of control. During the storyline where The Hood had control of the object, it at one point rapidly cycled through multiple alternative universes (apparently showing its ability to not only control reality, but travel to and through different realities as well). Stranger; Collector; Thanos; Nebula; Adam Warlock; Rune; Night Man; Loki; Galactus; Black Bolt; Hood; Odeni; Iron Man
Power Red Accesses all power and energy that ever has or will exist, and can boost the other gems' effects. Allows the user to duplicate almost any physical superhuman ability and grants Omnipotence. Champion of the Universe; Thanos; Nebula; Adam Warlock; Drax the Destroyer; Thor; Magus; Rune; Lord Pumpkin; Loki; Galactus; She-Hulk; Titania; Mister Fantastic; Odeni; Hood; Red Hulk; Xiambor; Namor

(Confirm that Loki’s staff from Avengers was the Mind Gem), and Gamora is Thanos’ daughter.)

You Should Know:

  • The Infinity Gauntlet is glimpsed briefly during the 2011 Thor film. It is seen in Odin's treasure room.
  • In Thor: The Dark World, a post-credit scene featuring the Collector shows Volstagg and Sif bringing the Aether to him. The Collector utters the words, "1 down, 5 to go", hinting at the collection of the 'Infinity Stones'. In an interview with CraveOnline, Fiege has stated that the Tesseract is an Infinity Stone and that a third Stone will be featured in Guardians of the Galaxy, later revealed in June 2014 to be the Power Stone.
