BlackBerry for sale by November

BlackBerry for sale  by November

Nokia sell it self to Microsoft  next BlackBerry wants to cut a deal to sell itself to a prospective suitor before November rolls around, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Citing "people familiar with the matter," the Journal reported late Wednesday that the Canadian phone maker has already been chatting with parties interested in buying all or part of the company. A list of potential candidates has been whittled down with the actual sales process expected to start soon, one of the sources said.

Lenovo is expected to make a play for BlackBerry. Other Asian tech firms also are reportedly eyeing the company. Financial firms such as Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Bain Capital are on the list as well, the Journal's sources said. BlackBerry is also likely to find itself split with more than one suitor taking over different parts of the company, the Journal added.
A BlackBerry spokesperson told CNET that the company won't comment on rumors or speculation.

New iPhone with new colours

An updated high-end model either named the iPhone 5S or iPhone6, and a cheaper, plastic-cased handset called the iPhone 5C.

The lower-cost iPhone 5C is expected to appeal to developing markets and first-time smartphone users. Around half of global mobile owners still use so called ‘dumb’ or feature phones, and as the market for high-end devices reaches saturation, analyst suggest that Apple needs to broaden its appeal.

An image purportedly showing the new iPhone 5C, leaked to iApps.im
As well as new iPhone models it’s also expected that Apple will offer up more details on iTunes Radio, a new music streaming service, and iOS 7,

Specs:

If you will notice, the iPhone 5C is basically the same as the iPhone 5 but with a colored polycarbonate body, heavier weight and thicker dimensions (8.97mm vs. 7.6mm). The iPhone 5S has the same body construction but different color and slightly better hardware as indicated in the table above.

Android KitKat Prepare for a sweet new treat

Android KitKat

Prepare for a sweet new treat

Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets. Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each Android version is named after a dessert: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean. As everybody finds it difficult to stay away from chocolate we decided to name the next version of Android after one of our favorite chocolate treats, Kitkat®!

Google has reached into the candy jar once again for the latest moniker of its Android mobile operating system.
In a surprise move amid the start of the annual consumer tech trade show IFA in Berlin this week, Google's SVP of Android and Chrome Sundar Pichai touted in a Google+ post on Tuesday that there have been more than one billion activations of Android-based devices worldwide. That's both smartphones and tablets.
Following that milestone and nary a peep at Google I/O in June, it's safe to say that a new version of Android is in order.
Following the firmly set patterns of matching up sweets with the alphabet, Android 4.4 has been officially dubbed as "KitKat."

Given that the American chocolate bar brand is owned by Hershey's, it was quickly questioned as to how and why Google went in this direction. (Clarification: The brand KitKat is owned by Nestle worldwide, but the name is licensed for use and manufactured by Hershey's in the United States.)

Good for half-dead Nokia, at the same time – it is also good for Microsoft because, the shareholders of Microsoft are confused big time as to what is the future of Microsoft and this good move to buy out Nokia unit will keep the shareholders guessing for sometime and give the required breather for Microsoft to plan ahead.

On Tuesday well known giant company Nokia announced that it was selling its beleaguered mobile phone unit to Microsoft for $7.17 billion (5.44 billion euros).

Nokia took this decision to compete with Apple and Google. Nokia dominated the mobile phone market for almost 14 years, until it was beaten by Samsung in 2012.
The deal is expected to close in 2014′s first quarter subject to the usual scrutiny from shareholder and regulators.
All doors are now opened for Microsoft to enter into Mobile world because Microsoft buys world’s leading mobile phone maker company to fight giant competitors Apple and Google. Nokia bought windows operating system for mobile when it was in testing phase. But before launching it Android took all marketplace. Microsoft paid $8.5 billion for Skype, Google paid $12.4 billion for Motorola and now Microsoft buys Nokia for $7.17 billion. Before Elop joined, Nokia devices unit alone was worth much more than these companies..
