ePLDT, Inc. recognized as 2017 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for PH
ePLDT, Inc., an industry-leading enabler of digital business
solutions in the Philippines, today proudly announced it has won the 2017
Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Award for the Philippines. The company
was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating
excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on
Microsoft technology.

Awards were presented in several categories, with winners chosen
from a set of more than 2,800 entrants from 115 countries worldwide. ePLDT was
recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services, as well as

The Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Awards honor partners at
the country level that have demonstrated business excellence in delivering
Microsoft solutions to multiple customers over the past year. This award
recognizes ePLDT as succeeding in effective engagement with its local Microsoft
office while showcasing innovation and business impact, driving customer
satisfaction, and winning new customers.

The Fakeblok fake news blocker is a Chrome plug-in that would sanitize your Facebook newsfeed from fake news sites.
Fakeblok calls your attention when links from websites that tend to post fake news appear on your Facebook newsfeed. This list of links is curated, fact-checked and monitored by a group of independent media professionals. The Fakeblok project is a collaboration between the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines, and the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility.
Calling out fake news
Posts from fake news sites (that are on the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility’s list) will be grayed out on your Facebook feed. And a caption will tell you to approach the article with caution.
A service from real journalists
The list of sites that tend to post fake news is moderated and maintained by a group of independent media professionals, in cooperation with the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility and the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines.
Citizen participation welcome
If you come across something on your Facebook newsfeed that you feel is fake news, you can report it to Fakeblok. A team of journalists will look into your concern. And if verified, the website will be added to the Fakeblok list of sites.
