IMEI is short for International Mobile Equipment Identity and is a unique number given to every single mobile phone, typically found behind the battery. IMEI numbers of cellular phones connected to a GSM network are stored in a database (EIR - Equipment Identity Register) containing all valid mobile phone equipment. 

Invalid IMEI may cause NO Signal or Unable to Connect with Network Provider.

In some cases IMEI is accidentally delete on factory reset.

1.  First, dial *#*#84666364#*#*

 2.   Go to CONNECTIVITY, RADIO INFORMATION then CDS INFORMATION

3.   Phone 1 is IMEI 1 or SIM 1
         Phone 2 is IMEI 2 or SIM 2

4.   Tap PHONE 1 then type
    AT +EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_NUM_HERE"

    Note: You should place the IMEI inside quotation marks ("xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx")

    Example:
    AT +EGMR=1,7,"354103033365507"

    Tap PHONE 2 then type
    AT +EGMR=1,10,"IMEI_NUM_HERE"

    Example:
    AT +EGMR=1,10,"354103033365507"

5.  Before sending the command check your space there is a space here AT SPACE +!! now  Send at Command.

6.   Reboot the phone. 

7.  Check IMEI by dialing *#06#, IMEI should be restored and your phone is ready to use!

NOTE: Engineering commands like AT+EGMR=1,7,"" AT+EGMR=1,10,"" and AT+EGMR=1,11,"" should be available on the dropdown. You don't need to type them manually, just the IMEI inside the quotation marks.

A security update in Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. that rely on SafeDisc DRM will no longer run with Windows update KB3086255. While a workaround is available, Microsoft warns that it could leave your computer or network more vulnerable to viruses or other malicious software. 

The description for update ‘3086255’ says that it “addresses a defense-in-depth update for the secdrv.sys driver, a third-party driver.” It then explains how it addresses that problem: “The update turns off the service for the secdrv.sys driver. This may affect the ability to run some older games.”

Safedisc was a DRM method that shipped on older CD-ROM games in the mid-aughts. Some well-known games that use this scheme include Battlefield 1942, Sim City 4, and Grand Theft Auto III.

Using CarPlay

CarPlay then declutters your car’s infotainment setup by switching it with a simplified home page featuring oversized icons for your Phone, Apple Music, Maps, Messages, and other apps, along with a Home button icon, your connectivity status, and the time. It’s as if someone took your iPhone and installed it in your dashboard.

Apple’s decision to use giant icons proved incredibly helpful when looking for specific apps while driving.

Siri is your copilot

You can tell Siri to make phone calls, send and read emails and texts, get directions, and play any song in Apple’s Music library. And of course, you can ask her trivia questions like, how tall is the Empire State Building? (1,454 feet, including the antenna.) Or you can just ask what it’s like to be her, which as she puts it, involves people constantly asking her questions.

There are limits to what Siri can do, though. Apple doesn’t let her reply to questions that require complex Web searches, because, well, you’re driving. CarPlay won’t display links to websites or any text, for that matter, to avoid distractions. (Google puts similar restrictions on Android Auto.) 

Driving Music

Apple Music is incredibly useful while driving, and with Siri playing DJ you can listen to nearly any song or artist you can think of without having to fiddle with any touchscreens or dials.

Maps without the Google

If you’re the kind of person who depends on Google Maps to get around, I’ve got some bad news: You can’t use it with CarPlay. Instead, Apple forces you to use its own Apple Maps software, which is a major letdown.
