The landmark store’s makeover is seen to accelerate the growth of the country’s most reliable Apple partner and continue its efforts to bring innovative products and services that support and enhance a complete Apple experience.

With its major transformation, Power Mac Center SM Megamall now occupies the largest retail space within the company’s retail network to accommodate a full assortment of Apple products and premium third-party accessories, as well as in-store product demonstration gallery.

Said Power Mac Center Marketing Director Joey Alvarez, “We couldn’t be more delighted to present the new look and feel of Power Mac Center SM Megamall. The additional space allows our first store to further its offerings and provide a more immersive and enjoyable shopping ambiance for Apple enthusiasts.”

Located at the fourth level Cyberzone, Power Mac Center SM Megamall was successfully re-launched at the recently held Dare to Transform event that gathered company executives, trade partners and brand ambassadors to commemorate the store’s makeover. Guests enjoyed special performances and exclusive offers as part of the celebration.

Power Mac Center SM Megamall has been updated with more than just innovative design elements to become more responsive to the needs of its valued clientele. Highlighting the transformation is its newest feature, the Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP). Open seven days a week, the AASP provides optimal high quality repair and maintenance services to ensure maximum utilization of Apple devices.

The SM Megamall store revamp dovetails with Power Mac Center’s 20th year in the Apple business, accentuating the store’s significant role in the company’s history and aligning with efforts to strengthen its industry foothold through a cohesive and aggressive development plan.

“When we opened the SM Megamall store for the first time in 1994, it was a remarkable feat that marked the entry of Power Mac Center in the Apple business,” said Mr. Alvarez. “Twenty years later, we relaunch our first store as our largest store that now boasts a new look and more capabilities to serve the growing community that shares our passion for Apple. Power Mac Center is deeply committed to bring a truly unique Apple experience to life.”

Since opening its first store in SM Megamall, Power Mac Center has grown its presence to 25 stores across Luzon and Mindanao. NASA Found Earth Twin Planet Kepler 2.0 -452b

NASA said Thursday that its Kepler spacecraft has spotted "Earth's bigger, older cousin": the first nearly Earth-size planet to be found in the habitable zone of a star similar to our own.

Though NASA can't say for sure whether the planet is rocky like ours or has water and air, it's the closest match yet found.

On Thursday, July 23, NASA announced the discovery of Kepler-452b, Earth's bigger, older cousin. This artistic concept shows what the planet might look like. Scientists can't tell yet whether Kepler-452b has oceans and continents like Earth.

"Today, Earth is a little less lonely," Kepler researcher Jon Jenkins said.

The planet, Kepler-452b, is about 1,400 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. It's about 60% bigger than Earth, NASA says, and is located in its star's habitable zone -- the region where life-sustaining liquid water is possible on the surface of a planet.

A visitor there would experience gravity about twice that of Earth's, and planetary scientists say the odds of it having a rocky surface are "better than even."

While it's a bit farther from its star than Earth is from the sun, its star is brighter, so the planet gets about the same amount of energy from its star as Earth does from the sun. And that sunlight would be very similar to Earth's, Jenkins said.

The planet "almost certainly has an atmosphere," Jenkins said, although scientists can't say what it's made of. But if the assumptions of planetary geologists are correct, he said, Kepler-452b's atmosphere would probably be thicker than Earth's, and it would have active volcanoes.

It takes 385 days for the planet to orbit its star, very similar to Earth's 365-day year, NASA said. And because it's spent so long orbiting in this zone -- 6 billion years -- it's had plenty of time to brew life, Jenkins said.

"That's substantial opportunity for life to arise, should all the necessary ingredients and conditions for life exist on this planet," he said in a statement.

Before the discovery of this planet, one called Kepler-186f was considered the most Earthlike, according to NASA. That planet, no more than a 10th bigger than Earth, is about 500 light-years away from us. But it gets only about a third of the energy from its star as Earth does from the sun, and noon there would look similar to the evening sky here, NASA says.

The $600 million Kepler mission launched in 2009 with a goal to survey a portion of the Milky Way for habitable planets.

From a vantage point 64 million miles from Earth, it scans the light from distant stars, looking for almost imperceptible drops in a star's brightness, suggesting a planet has passed in front of it.

It has discovered more than 1,000 planets. Twelve of those, including Kepler-425b, have been less than twice the size of Earth and in the habitable zones of the stars they orbit.

Missions are being readied to move scientists closer to the goal of finding yet more planets and cataloging their atmospheres and other characteristics.

In 2017, NASA plans to launch a planet-hunting satellite called TESS that will be able to provide scientists with more detail on the size, mass and atmospheres of planets circling distant stars.

The next year, the James Webb Space Telescope will go up. That platform, NASA says, will provide astonishing insights into other worlds, including their color, seasonal differences, weather and even the potential presence of vegetation.

How to Safety Remove or Delete Previous Windows Installation

If you install Windows 10 by performing a custom installation or new Windows build update and don't format the partition during the installation process, files that were used in your previous version of Windows are stored in the Windows.old folder. The type of files in this folder depends on your computer. After you’ve used Windows 10 for a while—for example, one or two weeks—and you’re confident that your files and settings are back to where you want them to be, you can safely reclaim disk space by using Disk Cleanup to delete the Windows.old folder.

Warning!! Before you use Disk Cleanup, make sure that all of your files and settings are in Windows 10 where you expect them to be. Deleting the Windows.old folder can’t be undone.

1. Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button. In the search box, type Disk Cleanup, and then, in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup.

If you're prompted to choose a drive, click the drive you just installed Windows on, and then click OK.

2. In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, on the Disk Cleanup tab, click Clean up system files.

If you're again prompted to choose a drive, click the drive you just installed Windows on, and then click OK.

3. Select the Previous Windows installation(s) check box, and any other check boxes for the files you want to delete  like Windows temporary installation file, and then click OK.

4. In the message that appears, click Delete Files.

Windows 10 RTM (TH1 build 10240) -- download full version, before release date

Microsoft has now finalized Windows 10, ready for its release later this month. Sources familiar with Microsoft's  selected build 10240 as the final release to manufacturing (RTM) copy, allowing PC makers to start loading the software onto new machines ready for release. We understand that Microsoft is signing off on the build internally today, and may announce the RTM publicly by the end of the week or choose to ignore the milestone and focus on the launch. While Microsoft is planning to launch Windows 10 on July 29th, new PCs with the software won’t be available until some weeks later. Microsoft is now pushing for existing and new device owners to upgrade to Windows 10 as part of a new marketing campaign.

Microsoft will first roll out build 10240 to its Windows 10 testers, and the company is now focused on patches and fixes that will also roll out alongside the OS launch. While the RTM process is a milestone for Microsoft, especially almost 20 years to the day the company finalized Windows 95, it’s really just one step in a new model that will see Windows act more like a service. In the future Microsoft will be updating Windows 10 regularly, especially the built-in apps that power most experiences in the operating system. Microsoft will test these future updates with its Insider program first, before rolling them out more broadly over the coming months.

But what if you want to do a clean install?

Unfortunately, no new ISOs have been provided [because] it wants insiders to try out the upgrade path. (this what i do)

Fortunately, the ESD files that Microsoft uses to ship these new builds allow anyone to create new ISOs.

In my case Windows 10 have been downloaded to C:\$windows.~WS ... Now I'm creating Windows 10 ISO 32 and 64 bit via media creation tool... Notice the Product Key config is Xrml (Digital License)..

When Windows 10 Technical Preview is upgraded to a new build using the PC Settings Download & Install method, Microsoft uses the ESD file format to deliver install files needed. ESD stands for Electronic Software Delivery, the Windows install.esd file contains the usual Windows install.wim file (WIM = Windows Imaging), encrypted and compressed. Install.wim file in its turn contains everything needed for a complete Windows installation.

Things you should know:

A Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 product keycannot activate Windows 10. Windows 10 uses its own unique product key.

By default, Windows 10 builds are pre-keyed, meaning, you do not have to enter a product key and should not be prompted to enter one as long as you upgraded from an activated Windows 7 or Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 license or Windows 10 Preview build.

If you perform a clean install on first attempt, you will have to start over from an activated Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 installation.
If you are prompted to enter a product key, click Do this later and give it a few days, Windows 10 will activate automatically.

Activation servers are being overwhelmedat the moment because of the volume of upgrades, so give it some time if you get an error message such as (0XC004E003, ,0x8007000D, 0x8007232b or 0x8007007B) Windows 10 will eventually activate as long as you upgrade using the appropriate method.

There is no need to know your Windows 10 product key, read the following 'Understanding Product Activation in Windows 10:

If you are unable to enter the product key:

Press Windows key + X
Click Command Prompt (Admin)

At the command prompt, type the following commands:
slmgr.vbs -ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (allows you to replace the current product key with the specified)

xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx - represents your product key
Hit Enter on your keyboard

Now type the following command and press
slmgr /skms kms.xspace.in

The following command can force an activation to occur if it’s not happening automatically after going through the steps above. First, open an Administrator Command Prompt by right-clicking the Start button or pressing Windows Key + X and selecting Command Prompt (Admin). Type the following command and press Enter:
slmgr.vbs /ato

Many people report having to run this command several times. if you see an error message, try rebooting and running it again, wait and run it again, or just wait and let Windows activate automatically. Microsoft’s servers may be overloaded at the moment you’re trying to activate.
