A few month ago Globe Send a Letter  saying that , their Broadband Wimax technologies can no longer serve our area.

The reason is they upgrading their Tower Frequency to LTE which the new 700Mhrz or the extended LTE. The new 700Mhrz is Fast and can penetrate  wall or buildings.

As of now Globe Telecom signed several agreements with its Chinese partners worth US$750 million with Huawei Technologies, Nokia and Wuhan Fiberhome International Technologies,

I remember when I started posting tutorials Wimax is my number #1  in search result. From 2009 Globe Tabo Wimax Huawei Bm622 , Huawei BM622i, BM622m  to BM623m with WiFi and the Smart Green Packet or MyBro.


There is a lot experience and services  I receive  reconnecting to downgrading firmware of Wimax Modem. All that - come to end! including my career LOL.

How To Turn On an Offline Computer With Android Free Wake-On-LAN Apps

You can turn on an offline computer with Android Phone via Free Wake-on-LAN Apps.

In this tutorial I teach you how to configure the free Android application WOL, boot your computers from afar by pushing the command from your phone to your home network.

This way, you can control an offline computer remotely by waking it up before you establish a connection.

NOTE: 
For WoW (Wake On Wan), just set the broadcast address to be the remote IP address of the device. This may require some extra setup on the remote network to make sure that the wakeup packets actually arrive on the remote device.

If you're trying to wake up a device that is connected via WiFi it may not work, there's not many WiFi cards that support the WOL standard. WOL works best via an ethernet connection. Some devices such as laptops may not support WOL very well or at all. Some might only work when they are in sleep mode, and others might allow you to turn it on when it is powered off.

If you can answer the following questions with "Yes", this is the appropriate method:

1.     Is the target computer located in a network?
2.     Is the target computer connected to the network using a network cable?
3.     Is the target computer connected to the Internet via a router?
4.     Does the router support port forwarding or port mapping?
5.     Does the router have a public address? a fixed IP address or an public domain address
6.     Does TeamViewer run with the operating system on the target computer (auto boot)?

If yes to all of the above, the following steps are necessary to use Wake-on-LAN via a public address:

1.Configure the hardware of the target computer

a.) Enable WOL on your computer Bios Power Management this might allow you even the power is off . BUT Even you can not find this on your Bios (sample Laptop) step b will work on sleep mode only.

b) Enable Wake up on LAN on your OS  (Device Manager) Select your LAN Card ( Ethernet Controller ) or WiFi Adapter (Note some WiFi don't support WOW wake up on WAN).  Go to Power Management check all the box magic packet etc.

c) Get your LAN or WLAN Device Info   IP Address and MAC Address , you can find that at your Network Sharing then  Network Connection right click go to properties click device info ( Details)

LAN MAC Address: 78:2B:CB:E0:C8:DF
LAN IP Address: 192.168.254.110
 

   
2.Configure the Router/Modem
Set Port Forwarding  on your Router/ Modem

Here I use Wimax Modem -there is No Port Forwarding,  but  Port Mapping is Okey for Local WAKE ON LAN.

• Set Mapping Name : any you want
• Set External and Internal Port : 9
• Protocol set Both UDP/TCP
• Internal Host : Your Computer Static IP ( You can add as many as you have)

3. Configure your  Android WOL Apps on the target computer.
Open your Apps  Search or Add Manually:

• Device Name
• MAC Address
• IP Address
• Port 9 ( this is set by default)

 

 
 4. Wake up the target computer

Finally Press Wake! If you do all the steps above right, your computer will awake with  your android device remotely.

Note: Expert knowledge is recommended to configure Wake-on-LAN via a public address. The configuration process may differ substantially depending on the hardware used. It is also helpful, if you have some experience with the configuration of routers and networks.

Extra Tips: You can use remote PC too on this trick like TeamViewer that has Wake On Lan function.

Most of BM623m user downgrade their  firmware to BM622m 2012 firm
ware .It easy change mac and WiFi Access  or WLAN still working .

However by downgrading to old firmware if you generate  admin password via genpasstool with serial and mac  Error Login appear. You don't know if the default admin user  and password are change.

Default user is accessible  but admin is not.

There are customize firmware available then people  use it without knowing what is the Admin User and Password.

 How to Fix :

 1. Telnet must be enable , do the step below if your telnet is not open.

• Login as user  password 0SlO051O
• Open this link on a new tab http://192.168.254.1/advanced/acl.html
• Check the LAN Telnet and click apply 

2. Login on telnet  insert temporally  admin user and password. 
Command

• User: Firefly

A simple scripts should do the trick , Remember the Temporary Admin log in way back 2012 or 2013 for BM622m.

How to log in as  admin?

1. First  enable telnet first .

Question: Bakit Gusto ng iba na downgraded yung modem nila?

Sagot : kasi yung package date 2013 yung mga firmware ( software version) nila  ay naka fix at uncheckable yung   LAN Telnet at  SSH  , pag 2012 na firmware  madali mag change at gamitin pang HUNT  - SNIPE  dahil pwede i check yung box ng telnet.

Vulnerability :  pag tanga yung user aksidente nya ma checheck yung WAN , at  naka default yung user  pass ng  admin   pwede generate  yung Serial at WAN Mac
 Kung  ako tatanungin kung di nyo naman pang ssnipe yan  mas ok pa ako sa 2013 mas ok firewall nyan

Ganito yung  622m 623m  2013  unchekable yung box ng  LAN Telnet/SSH kaya need  natin ng webdeveloper  pang check ng box   or old school inspect element to enable the checkbox lagi ganun yan pag 2013 lagi mo check muna click apply bago mag change mac ulit


Tips ko bago  mag DOWNGRADE UPGRADE ENABLE mo muna yung TELNET
(Enable Telnet First Before Downgrading)

Software Version :

Hindi porket  2013  yan para pareho na yan iba iba yung software version nyan.
Paano malalaman anong software version at packate date yung  modem.

Kung 622m user ka type mo 192.168.254.1 sa browser mo

Software version of Package Date 2012 is B016  (16) last 
Software version of Package Date 2013 are  B019 , B021, and B022 

Note: version 16 and  version 19  change mac command  is the same
while B021 and B022 BM622m  change mac command is similar to BM623m Change Mac Command

For 623m user  type  192.168.254.254
Package Date 2013  Software version BO12 , B013

How to Downgrade

There are  two ways to  downgrade  , you can  log in  on web gui or upload firmware using Winspreader tools.

First Upload Mybro or Greenpacket  because you cannot direct upload 622m (low space or invalid firmware) Do the Step below...
2nd Upload 622m B016 Firmware... repeat the step below

WEB GUI Upgrade

1.Uploading by  log in as admin or user (inspect element on user only)
under maintenance tab  device / firmware
(same thing to do with Smart or GP firmware)
2. Select firmware and click upgrade GP or Mybro
3. Observe the percentage or Signal lights wait if  100% success or failed try re upload other firmware noted below this post
4.If firmware upload success do a Hard RESET
5.If your already have change  GP or Mybro  upload 622m firmware repeat step 1 to 4.

Sa may Mybro or Green Packet

Uploading  Firmware via Winspreader.

1. Get a Winspreader  save it on your desktop and   firmware you desired..(GP or Smart)
2. Open a Winspreader   browse the  desired firmware  Hit start.
3. Plug your Modem  Power and Lan Cable  the  wait  a  few minutes....
NOTE if your Modem is already plug in before doing step 2 ,  please do unplug the power adapter first then re plug the power adapter.
4. check the web GUI ..  type the   192.168.254.1  on your browser
5. If you Gui Change to Smart...
6.Do a Hard Reset by Press and hold  it 2 minimum of 2 minutes  ( sundutin mo ng malufet wag moaalis sa pag kakasundut )
7.If your already have change  GP or Mybro  upload 622m firmware repeat step 1 to 6.

All featured tar file here  can be upload on your mediatek modem  622m 623m  even the Smart Mybro GreenPacket firmware (GP)  you can use it...

NAKIKITA NYO YUNG GOOGLE CUSTOM SEARCH sa RIGHT SIDE??
Click mo SEARCH  then  input mo "Firmware Collection"   ganyan mag Google dito!

Observing Signal Lights while Uploading Firmware :Very Important

You should observe the signal light blink sequence when uploading firmware

When the uploading start signal light blink like a charging  battery on your phone

SLOWMO Sequence from  1 , 2 , 3 ,4 ,5  or   1 and 5  , 2  and 4, 

If the signal light are steady , usually it stop   at 1 and 2 or  3 signal lights are ON Uploading Firmware is Finish..

NOTE: Failed  Upload Firmware   Signal Sequence  is  too FAST!!     12345 - 12345
Meaning Firmware upload Failed

HARD RESET : Very Important

Take note this for every success  upload firmware  Please DO a Hard RESET

1. Press and Hold  reset button minimum of  1 to 2 minutes.
2. all lights up first
3. Observe the lights  blink sequence   similar on light  repeated sequence when uploading
4. 1 and 5  will lights  , then   2 and 4 last 3( repeated)
5. sometimes    1, 3, 5, 2,4  blink sequence.
6. all signal light turn of   while Power and LAN  are still on 
7. Hard RESET Finish

This What Happen If you DO NOT Follow the HARD RESET  Un proper IP config for firmware

Instead  622m IP it is  Mybro IP , Do a Hard Reset to Fix

Instead  of Mybro IP  it is a 623m IP ,Do a HARD RESET  to Fix

WHAT IF FIRMWARE UPLOAD FAILED?

This is a very common  firmware upload failed because the present firmware is too big and there is no enough space to re upload new firmware and extract it to the mediatek chip.

SOLUTION:  upload a low space firmware  like Mybro   or GP firmware .
Do the step above.. then after success upload  GP or Mybro.. You can upload 622m Firmware B016 same step above gui or winspreader.

NOTE: Hard reset or signal light on Mybro sometimes only 1 and 2 are on.. 

Very important do the Hard Reset for every downgrade to upgrade.. Kumbaga sa pag rereformat ng computer eto yung final stage.. dahil di mag tatake effect yung new firmware settings pag di ka nag restore default..

Question:
Bakit ayaw mag upgrade  sa gui ng Mybro nag oopen lang yung Browse?
Huwag gamitin yung mouse sa pag select ng menu ..pag naka select kana ng firmware  gamitin ang TAB sa keyboard sa pag select ng upgrade makikita mo may  line_ _ _ _   sapligid ng upgrade/upload  Press mo Enter sa keyboard.. mag pro proceed   kana sa upgrading.. Tips ko mas maganda gamitin ang FireFox browser.

Bakit walang WiFi  noong naging Mybro or Gp yung firmware?
walang WiFi talga yung sa Mybro kaya dapat 622m yung firmware nyo talga dyan or balik nyo sa 623m..

Bakit di ako maka log in?
Baka di nyo pa ginawa yung Hard Reset  tapos na iwan pa yung setting ng previews firmware at kada palit ng firmware mag iiba talga user nyan after ng hard reset at upload ng firmware , may sample sa itaas  yung iba yung IP sa Firmware..


--Kung gusto nyo pasukin admin ng Mybro or GP try nyo mag change mac gamit yung mga scripts dito pang change mac kasama sa scripts yun..
